Maybe you could introduce Satelite Navigation as an upgrade with several levels.
It would reduce traveling time for your fleet.
Can be minutes or %, maybe for PA only?

There are of course a number of upgrades already available for the vehicles, but they are individual to the vehicle (see screenshot)

I assume you are referring to a global upgrade, so you have one upgrade which affects all vehicles?
